place in Colonial days and in the early
part of the nineteenth century.

tjj As a temporary home lor the Art Student
Philadelphia has unique advantages. Known as
the “City of Homes,” it affords good living at a
lower cost than is possible in any other large city
in the East.

9 In historical interest it is rich, and its suburbs,
easy of access, offer unusual chance for out-of-door
work. Opportunities for general culture are varied
and the Academy is fortunately able to secure
special rates for its students to many of the lectures
and concerts given each season.

9 The Academy itself is centrally located and
within short walking distance from it are good
boarding-places. The two principal railroad stations
are each within five minutes’ walk.

•J Recognizing that a comfortable living place is
an aid to serious study the management invites
correspondence with students from a distance and
offers freely its information and its aid.

CHARTERED 1836

THE business man, who is primarily a manufacturer, hires a sales
manager, t. a “selling specialist” to handle the sales end of his
business, and an “accounting specialist” to keep his books in order.

1 8 it not equally advantageous for the business or professional man to
employ specialists for the management of his personal financial affairs?

By means of a Living or Voluntary Trust, the man or woman who
delegates the care of an estate to the Trust Department of this Company
benefits by the collective judgment and constant attention of a staff
trained in financial affairs. The Trust may be made revocable or
irrevocable.

A consultation will show many ways in which a Living Trust may
be utilized. The fee is moderate.
